A little behind.. Again. We started school a couple weeks ago. I’m looking forward to a more consistent schedule although I will miss the carefree days of summer.
Last Friday we hit up the Splash Park. We hadn’t been all summer (it is a ZOO with all the kids out of school). Freddie gained a lot of confidence since then, he used to just cling to me. #sniff
Making patterns. I really enjoy the early stages of school when it’s play based.
This girl had to go and grow up on me. She is really into cooking right now, constantly asking me to watch cooking shows like Pioneer Woman together. She also asked me why I only put things in the oven and that cooking lady actually makes food #busted. So I put her to work.
Choo choo is all this kid wants to play. My best friend just passed down a HUGE train set to us and it pretty much amazing. Like all over my loving room amazing. I’m embracing the boy mom life, or trying.
This kid threw an epic fit for 45 minutes then fell dead asleep. For approximately 15 minutes. It was a real special afternoon.
I love life through the blurry pictures in Social Media. Its my very own personal journal and I love it.
This kid. I love her cheery personality. Its good for me. She is naturally friendly where I feel like I have to work really hard to open up to someone, it just happens for her, I hope one day she can teach me.
The NEVER happens. seriously NEVER. If he falls asleep in the car and I need to feed him lunch before nap I can normally put him on the couch and he wakes up in 10 minutes or so. He slept there for almost 2 hours!! I kept checking to see if he was breathing!
We eat at home ALOT. If we do eat out its normally a picnic that I have packed. I have a feeling I should train my children to behave better in restaurant, but we don’t go that often and there are so many of them! We were waiting at Carl’s Jr (classy) for Ronnie to come eat with us in between games. I was counting the SECONDS till Ronnie arrived, and let me clue you… its wasn’t fast enough!
I love watching their realtionship grow. Sometimes he is pulling her hair, sometimes she is dragging him around making him her “baby.” Other times they are sitting together… I prefer the sitting together personally.
We went on a little family hike after dinner on Saturday. I’m always surprised by both the outfits my kids pick out when I give them free reign and their stamina. These little girls RAN up the hill leaving mom huffing and puffing pushing the stroller.
A rare before church photo where EVERYONE IS LOOKING. I mean come on! I would like to say I will try to attempt these photos more often but I’m being honest, I’m lucky to get them all dressed. Which p.s. can you get enough of the Matilda Jane ruffles?!? They are SOOO cute!!
Every year Ronnie and I go to the Buffini & Company Mastermind Summit. Its a life changing personal growth conference that does wonders for our business, personal life, and personal growth. We look forward to it every year. I was representing the hubs business with my NECESSARY coffee fix.
The conference is held downtown and during breaks we would go walk the coast #roughlife I love spending time with this guy getting organized and ready for the rest of the year. We had some incredible speakers this year, I’ll post more next week.
its been a bit. Let’s get back at it shall we?!? I won’t post all the pictures from our time apart, that would take a while, just some highlights. My baby turned one! (Tear) he also fell asleep at church one Sunday. You have to understand Ya’ll. .. This NEVER happens. I actually took him home and checked his temp and ears to make sure he wasn’t sick. This kid is ALWAYS moving. ALWAYS. Easter came and went. I’m still blessed with these 3 bozos. We bought a new house & moved. More on that later I promise. It’s a real gem with LOTS of DIY in my future. We moved ourselves and then slept for a week. Just kidding. I wish. This little sweetie turned 3. Yikes! I wish there was a pause button sometimes. She still gives the best squish your whole face snuggles. I hope she never outgrows that. Still the same story over here. Busy life but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Blessings from our family to yours! Love, Mollie
The weeks are flying by.. especially since it’s getting warmer out.
Oh Freddie boy. He is going to figure out not to eat sand one of these days. I’m almost sure of it. Maybe.
It kinds freaks me out her next birthday is going to be 5. She should still be my baby. She is the best big sister and mommy helper. She has a caring heart and likes things just right. I love my Zoie girl.
My first #tbt. Kinda fun to remember the old days.
Lunch picnic is the bomb. Sometimes being a “yes” mom is the best.
We are a church going family. And we stay for both services which means by the time the 2nd one rolls around this boy is out. I think it actually makes the nursery workers breathe a sigh if relief seeing as he has figured out how to climb the shelves and open the door.
Lake Arrowhead was beautiful. Not pictured is Nana, Pops, Grammie, & Papa. That’s right. We vacationed with our parents & in laws in the same cabin and it was great!! We are very blessed in the family department.
My baby boy turned 1. I cried a little. He also DEVOURED his first cinnamon roll. I love that spitfire.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Blessings from our family to yours.
I love Friday. Now that it’s daylight savings time again… it’s beach Friday’s! !
People that make toys with batteries either don’t have children or have bad hearing. This guitar is horrid, but my kids LOVE it. Like rock concerts ALL THE TIME. and my boy who NEVER sits still plays with it for like 20 minutes. So it can stay. For now.
On Saturday, Ronnie gave me some free time. I went to the gym & had coffee by myself. It was glorious. Simply glorious.
This boy. One of my friends told me after I had him that having a little boy is like having a 6th grade crush. It’s totally true, he makes my heart swoon. He has also figured out how to climb on the couch so my days of relaxing are over.
These two are a hoot. They are both obsessed with the color orange. Hence the crazy glasses. The love eachother and its good. I know the days will come when they fight but right now they are besties.
We are having our bathroom redone. It’s a huge pain. Including tracking down the tile at 4 different home depots.
Then I had to go back the 5th time with the kids. At one point they were singing Jake and the Neverland Pirates thru the pipes at the top of their lungs. I’m pretty sure we were the perfect description of people they DONT want there.
The beach in March. I mean come on. The thing is we pay for this. Like thru the nose, so I will take advantage of it every chance I get. I LOVE the beach, I get to be a “yes” mom, except when your toddler disappears for a whole minute and you instantly age 10 years and feel like you are going to throw up the rest of the day… but that’s another story for later.
Little girls and large turtle tanks. My caption for this photo was ” childhood is magical.” I so want theirs to be magical, the time is so short. .. just stay little.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Blessings from our family to yours!!
Ummm. Instagram. It’s so good.
I’m Mollierobison if you want to follow along. 🙂
My sweet boy. He knows how to walk, but he is faster crawling so he doesn’t want to. But put him in this thing and he can CRUISE!!
The other two kids were sick so Ronnie stayed home with them so Zoie & I could go to the Oscar party. She is the best date. Also, having only 1 kid at a family party where she just wants to play with her cousins is CAKE.
I started a Lent journal this week. It’s pretty awesome. The post is here.
Got to have a lunch date with Ronnie on Tuesday. Wings and Things is so good. But it wasn’t all fun and games. We had to return a bathtub & buy tile. So romantic.
I LOVE stroller strides. But sometimes going to the gym by myself is like a vacation. A wonderfully sweaty vacation.
Yep. All of them. Read about it here.
I’m doing a Lent journal. #40daysofjesus. I’ve never done anything for lent before, this is a new and pretty cool experience for me.
My kids LOVE spaghetti. And we make them eat it without shirts on because well it just makes sense.
Also Freddie just figured out when we say monster to do a baby roar. It’s adorbs.
Side by side comparison of my hubs & Freddie at the same age. So messy. So cute.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings from our family to yours.
So apparently I took a little blogging break. Whoops. Life. It’s constantly getting in the way of things I want to accomplish.
Have I mentioned I love instagram?!? I’m Mollierobison if you want to follow along.
Get ready for serious photo dump. It’s been a couple weeks.
So Ronnie & I got to sneak away overnight on Valentine’s Day. That almost NEVER happens so we jumped at the chance! ! We got to stay at the Hilton in Mission Bay. I love vacationing in our own city. Riding bikes and eating Chipotle was our idea of a perfectly romantic vday.
My parents stated at our house with the kiddos. (Lucky right?!?) My momma sent me this pic of my Littles making corn pancakes with my dad (Papa) something I remember doing when I was little. If you haven’t had corn pancakes, get on that ASAP. amazing.
Day after we wandered over to the Wave House for lunch. We sat at the bar and watched the surfers practice their tricks. There were some really good guys and then others that ate it hard man. But I’m pretty sure I don’t even have the guts to try so who am I to judge. 🙂 I’ll enjoy my fish & chips from over here thanks.
Quotes from Pennie. “Jesus lives in my unicorn heart momma” you betcha kiddo.
I’m pretty sure that isn’t how you are supposed to sit in the seat. It was supposed to be an easier trip because I only had Freddie. . Wrong. Turns out it’s easier with thr sisters because they keep him occupied. Maybe next time I’ll try just one sister. Ha.
I took away ALL of my kids toys. It was ugly. There was screaming, yelling, & tears. From everyone (mostly me). Then there was peace. Look for a post next week about it.
My pastor spoke on Sunday about gratitude so I busted out my journal. Feels good to be grateful for the little things. They add up to a lot.
Our first time building a fort together as a family. Don’t ask me why we haven’t done it before, but now it’s a thing. Every morning they ask kinda thing. Maybe that’s why we hadn’t done it yet.
Cheeks, scrunchy nose, messy hair. Sweet boy.
We get the chance to date our kids. It’s awesome. I got to take Pennie to a trampoline park. We bounced our hearts out man. I even relived some of my high school cheerleader days and then payed for it the next day (I am NOT that flexible anymore! !) We had a blast.
Zoie wanted to draw but didn’t know what to make. I told her to draw what she was thinking about. She drew this. Jesus on the cross and all his friends are sad. She made sure to tell me she wasn’t sad because Jesus rose from the dead and now lives in her heart. Cue the proud momma moment and weepy tears.
A lot of my afternoons look like this. It’s awesome.
Rainy day play. We have a mini trampoline that we pull inside for rainy days. Today was a fort day (obviously).
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings from our family to yours.
